Description

EnviroSure conducted Phase I ESAs at two vacant properties in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. A local area school district was considering acquiring these properties for future use. The Phase I ESAs consisted of detailed reviews of historical records, federal and state databases, local governmental files, a site reconnaissance, and interviews.

EnviroSure conducted a Phase I ESA of the Site in conformance with the scope and limitations of ASTM Practice E 1527 and the All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) regulation. EnviroSure concluded that the Site did not contain recognized environmental conditions that could subject the current property owners and prospective property purchasers to environmental liabilities. A final report was prepared and submitted which recommended no additional investigation of the site based on the findings of the Phase I ESA.

In addition to the Phase I ESAs, EnviroSure conducted a limited asbestos containing materials (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP) assessment and a comprehensive asbestos inspection in the vacant structures. The results indicated ACM detection in building materials, and based upon site inspection and analytical data intact LBP exists on structure surfaces. Asbestos (> 1%) was identified in multiple building materials. EnviroSure recommended the client handle the identified ACM and LBP in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations during property redevelopment.
