Entry-Level Geologist or Environmental Scientist (NJ Office)
EnviroSure, Inc. is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist or Geologist to add to our New Jersey team. The position offers a dynamic and self-motivated individual the unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing small business. The position offers a balance between field and office work. This position is an in-office, full-time position in the EnviroSure's future Cherry Hill, NJ office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with conducting Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment projects primarily in New Jersey and Southern New York;
- Conduct project-related research;
- Assistance with business development and marketing activities;
- Assist with and/or perform field activities that may include groundwater sampling, soil sampling, vapor intrusion air sampling, well installation, etc.;
- Prepare health and safety plans, work orders and effectively coordinate field activities, and;
- Prepare data tables, report figures to meet deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering.
- Entry-level to 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of NJDEP Site Remediation Program and NYDEC regulations (preferred but not required).
- Multi-media sampling experience (preferred but not required).
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and computer skills.
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification (preferred but not required).
- Safe driving record.
- Ability to work on a team as well as individually on task assignments.
