Groundwater Sampling and Analysis

Summary Letter/Report Preparation

To comply with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) requirements, EnviroSure performed routine groundwater sampling at existing groundwater monitoring wells at an active gasoline station property in Narberth, PA to ensure environmental limitations were being met/maintained. Before sampling activities, EnviroSure contacted PADEP to ensure a clear understanding of the scope of services needed, minimizing risk.

EnviroSure prepared a site-specific health and safety plan prior to sampling activities. EnviroSure purged and collected samples from three existing groundwater monitoring wells. All purged water was treated onsite using a carbon drum. The wells surround underground storage tanks (USTs) containing gasoline on the site. The monitoring wells were analyzed for PADEP unleaded gasoline parameters.

Laboratory results were turned around within two-weeks and confirmed concentrations of PADEP unleaded gasoline parameters were not detected in the samples collected.

EnviroSure prepared a summary letter summarizing field activities and analytical results. The letter included tables summarizing laboratory data and figures illustrating the locations of the groundwater monitoring wells and USTs. EnviroSure’s summary letter and worked performed enabled PADEP to close out a violation associated with the facility.
